I am Linda Bellova, an interdisciplinary artist, pianist and educator. I create tangible worlds through music, literature and performance. Every project begins with an inner need to give expression to lived experience.

My relationship with music and creativity began in childhood. From there, my path led me through an intensive training as a concert pianist. Awards and first prizes in competitions, along with a successful entrance examination, eventually led me to a music-focused high school in Zurich, before I began my studies at the Lucerne University of Music at the age of 16. In 2018, I completed my Master of Arts in Music Performance there.

Throughout my career as a pianist, I have had the opportunity to work with outstanding musicians, educators and musical collaborators. Along the way, I not only learned to develop musical works to a high level and cultivate stage presence, but also experienced the many different ways in which piano teaching can be approached.

I came to understand the profound influence a teacher can have on whether a person who is passionate about music flourishes, reaches their full potential and develops a relationship with music of their own — or whether, under the weight of too many demands and rules, their own creative voice gradually grows quieter.

Self-expression and creativity are honest inner needs within all of us, and they keep knocking on the door until we allow them in.
I want to give that need a deliberate place in my teaching.
